I have a huge fit of the giggles which normally wouldn't be a big deal however I'm at work and Hubby is not helping with his utter refusal to acknowledge the pics of the Boob Thief as my avatar on Yahoo. I find it hilarious.

Music

So, I've been listening to a lot of music the last few days and I was trying to figure out why I love certain artists like the Foo Fighters, Ludacris, The Who, Salt and Pepa, Black Eyed Peas, The Killers, AC/DC and others and why I absolutely hate others like 50 cent, Nich Lachey and Panic! At the Disco and basically everyone really popular right now and I think I figured it out.
No matter what the genre I'm a sucker for a clever lyric.
Seriously I don't care who it is, if the words are clever, I'm there. If I can rock out or dance to it? You've got me.
Unfortunately so many artists think that being either a: loud, 'shocking', or having a good beat is enough.
And all of them seem to be getting play on the radio.
Meh.

Corporate America

This is my first true corporate job in a long, long time and while I enjoy it there are things about it that drive me insane:
I watch Red get hammered with work and Kitteh have to deal with idiots due to the firing of Blondie while Simple Mind is allowed to continually frell up I've come to a few conclusions.
One: Laziness is rewared in corporate America as long as you know how to delegate.
Doesn't matter that you spend all day on the phone, loud and distracting, or running around like a chicken with your head cut off but never actually getting anything done, so long as you've delegated to someone else. If they screw up, despite the fact that they never had any formal training or even a sit down to discuss what they're supposed to do, poor TeenageEdmund, then that's their fault.
Two: Having the rep of a Drunken Whore is A-O-Kay
As long as you bring in the big clients
Three: No matter how hard you work someone will always have something to bitch about.
So frell them. Do your work for you.
